Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Our commitment
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technology. We're working toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA (the basis of Israeli Standard 5568).
What we've done
- A "skip to content" link for keyboard users
- A keyboard-accessible mobile menu
- Color contrast checked against WCAG AA on body and secondary text
- Text alternatives for icons that convey meaning; purely decorative icons are hidden from screen readers
- Full right-to-left layout support for Hebrew
- A real top-level heading on every page, including each destination page
- Form fields that tell the browser what they are, so autofill works
- Keyboard navigation of the interactive destination map
- The site still reads if JavaScript is unavailable
Known limitations
We have run a systematic check across every page of this site - colour contrast, heading order, form field labels, image alt text, duplicate ids, landmarks and target sizes - and fixed what it found. What has not happened is an end-to-end test with a real screen reader, by someone who uses one. Software can confirm that a label exists; it cannot tell you whether the page makes sense read aloud. There may be real gaps that our checks did not catch. We will update this list as any are found or fixed.
